Band Practice

And this last catch-up photoblog entry is coming right ontop of the previous one, so go back to "Dancing in Chitown" if you want to see more pics.

Now this set is some random shots from band practice last week. We practiced a little and then hung out. And I have no clue why I didn't get any shots of Ben, our keyboardist. I guess he's not important. (jk! Love ya!)

Here's lead guitar Steven and the back of the bassist. Plus our stylish blacklight and ropelight to set the creative atmosphere. Ha.

The side of bassist, Nic.

The new conga/bongoist, Mero. We are all so excited to add the new instruments that whatever he does, we just think is absolutely brilliant.

Rhythm guitar, Kevin. Yes, he's Steven's twin.

More bongoing. Notice the ever-stylish laundry room he has to play in.

Kyron, the drummer. ..who also brought his daughter that night.

Some odd shot of Mero that I ended up liking.

We should really get a lot more done seeing as we have another gig coming up fast. But we are mostly all too lazy. So on to Texas Hold'em!

Nic thinks he's good enough to be The Unibomber.

Kev and his girl Steph try to take my chips and fail miserably.

The Unibomber recruits some help from Claude. or is it Clawed? I didn't ask the spelling.

Claude/Clawed is the newest resident at the house where we practice. Frisky, but those big ears make it look like a Gremlin.

The owner of the practice house, Dan. Who lets us play there for free every Sunday. He also hosted the Napoleon Party.

He thought he could beat me too. And he was sadly mistaken.

I won a lot and was ever-so humble! {Do straight guys wear turtlenecks?}

That's Alliyah, Ky's daughter.

She had fun playing with the big kids. I like what she did there, Steph.

I think you should keep it like that.

She was such a little ham. Adorable.

She wanted us to take a picture of her little hyper dance.

And then she wanted to try that camera. Alright. This one's not so bad, Alliyah.

Woah! Extreme closeup of my cheek! Try backing up a little, hun.

Ok, interesting. Not too bad. That's Angie's bottom half.

And then some weird ones. Trying getting faces Alliyah.

There. That's a really nice one. They look cute.

That's Angie, Dan's wife. Didn't want me to take a picture, but Alliyah snuck one in there.

And then she got all artsy.

But dad said it was time to go. That's not his Barbie purse, I assumed.

Goodnight, Alliyah. Aww, I love you too.
